I have an old woodburner and now need to get it installed, this is very big old stone house that abutts the chateau next door with 1 metre thick stone walls. so I need a chimney sweep, 2 aluminium plates cut and fitted and an insulated flexi pipe/chimney liner, can anyone advise. I know the French won’t install it as they say I have to have their Guarantee and also certification, you can only get an English person to do it. If I was in my cottage in England, where I had both open fire and a woodburner, it would be done and dusted by now. Thanks in advance. Sarah
can’t help on this one but one thought - beware of anything that doesn’t meet your insurance requirements - would mean that the insurance wouldn’t pay if there was a fire
