I have 2 vans that are being converted currently messing up my parking area!!

We have a RHD Vauxhall Vivara already lined out with floor, loo cuboard with trap to take camping toilet and a single bed with proper seat belt cupboardsn under. It is for sale as we only bought it to drive to France with elderly mum on board

I agree with Alexander. Start with a vehicle which has a carte grise as a camper or you may have to jump through lots of hoops;

The collector near us has Dodge Maxi Van conversion in his hangar, wow luxury far greater than our house! Mid-1960s I believe, impressive.

Hello Ivan, did you eventually build a van conversion in France? Iā€™m looking to do the same and was wondering if its possible.
