Visa validation help please

Try clearing your cache? If it doesn’t recognise Paris it is very unwell.

Spot on about Paris

Well, well… there we go! Thought I would just try it again today before going to the Mairie and lo and behold it’s all working. Must have been a system glitch which decided to wipe out addresses? Thanks for your help

Hi, I am glad you were able to sort your problem may be you can help me. I am trying to validate my VLS-TS visa but can not get on to the website. All i am getting are two lovely circles going around and around.

This is the site the i am trying to access: Étrangers en France
Am i getting something wrong?

I just tried it on your behalf…

2 circles going round… so I used my cursor to highlight the “address” it was searching for… and it came up trumps…

Hi Stella

Just tried highlighting the address but i am still getting circles. I have copied the address used another tab to open but no joy. What did you do exactly Stella?

Well would you believe it? Just tried on my phone and it has opened up. Must be something to do with my Mac that it didn’t like.

Thanks Stella, all should be ok now,. (He said with a chuckle).

If the site I’m trying to open is “frozen” or “unavailable”… whatever… and it’s not coming-up as it should…
I put my cursor on the address showing in the toolbar, click it - which turns the “address” blue (highlights)
then press Enter…
and 9 times out of 10… the computer agrees that it can find it after all…

Update: I have now validated my Visa so the panic is over thanks again to Stella. Until the next time.

Not able to validate my visa - Récapitulatif and Paiement Étapes are not being generated.

Hi Everyone, I need some help and if you were in a similar situation would appreciate recommendations on how to deal with the it.

I started the online process to validate my D type visa but when I reach the Récapitulatif and Paiement, the pages are are not being generated, i.e. blank pages. I am not able to pay the tax and finalize the validation. One months is left (out of three) to validate the visa and I have started panicking. I send an email to dgef-support@interieur.gouv.fr but no solution so far.
Have you been in a similar situation? How should I go about it?
Any recommendation and advise would be much helpful.
Many thanks in advance.
Anika

If you’ve a VPN running turn it off.

Try another browser - ie Firefox Opera Chrome - whatever you’re not using.

hi Anika, I had this prb before, but I just sloved the prb randomly.
I could NOT pay, then I clicked on NEED HELP to look at the problems, then I clicked the ‘back’ arrow to go back to the previous page, then the payment info appears!
Maybe you can try that too?

Thanks Everyone for the support!

Can you advise what happens next once you validate your visa ? Do I arrange a doctor’s appointment for get all the documents mentioned in the validation?

  1. Un examen clinique général,
  2. Un examen radiographique des poumons,
  3. Une vérification des vaccins,
  4. Une mesure de glycémie capillaire pour les personnes présentant un
    risque de diabète.

Go to your GP for the general check up, s/he will prescribe the X ray, you go to your local polyclinique to get it, and have your carnet de santé or vaccination carnet with you for checking. Re the diabetes thing it’s only if you are concerned.

Isn’t this done by OFII and you wait to be sent an appointment? Along with the civic integration day etc

Someone on here went through this very recently so a search should pull it up.

Edit: just checked. You will eventually be sent an appointment. This may be in one month (unlikely with holidays coming up ) or it may be in 6 months. You just have to be patient and wait.

Thanks so much !

Please don’t do what Vero suggests as you need to go through the OFII process. It will be a waste of money.

Ah OK! I’m an idiot :slightly_smiling_face:

Not an idiot….just not an immigrant plodding through a set bureaucratic process!
