So, we're getting our visa info together to take to the French Embassy in San Fransisco in a few weeks and I wonder if you have any tips. We will be living in France a year taking care of a chateau near Normandy. I am a journalist by trade and I was given the impression that I should tell them I won't be working for anyone- including the magazines I write for in the US. Is this true? Thoughts? (I can never get through to them by phone!) Thanks.
