Yes that was a fun study - but some of the side effects are real for some people

I’ve been on the statins now since my stroke a number of years ago following which I really did change my lifestyle and eating habits and there have been no flags on the bloods for some time.
I have had this effect before; usually in the winter IIRC and it often passes after a few painful days. This time it persisted but relief has come gradually after not taking the statin tablet for 2 nights. I can at least now get up off the settee, chair or get out of bed and walk without hobbling on a cane. :slightly_smiling_face:

Can’t take statins … make me cough all the time!
