James, to answer the question you raised in the Internet discussion - I use a standard broadband connection via an FT fixed line dedicated to the Internet, and using a Linskys Gateway (WAG 320N)modem for WiFi links around the house. I bought the Siemens S675 IP a couple of years back (with two extension phones) wanting to use VOIP more extensively to cut costs, but couldn't quite decide which route to go from there. One by one I ruled out the FT alternatives, as I discovered the degree to which FT can prevent a full service being available, e.g. the old copper wires not being able to take the bandwith if there are too many users, but now the Tooway prospect looks brighter!
