WARP card renewal in Herault 34

Hi All
its time to renew my wife’s and my WARP card.
I went onto Digital Administration for foreign nationals in France website - registered and went to apply - but it said that online applications were not available.

has anybody in D34 followed a different process please ?

Thanks @robwebber for initiating the post, and thanks @JohnH for providing the very helpful link, as I just sailed through the very simple online application process for the 10 year card - now just need to wait for the processing, so hope all will go well - very very helpful of you both, and much appreciated :+1:

Hi All
just a little update on this…
went to the meeting today in Beziers for the dossier to be looked at.
all good, except they asked for photocopies of all passport pages that had an entry stamp on ! what ever country it was…most bizarre.
that request wasnt mentioned in any previous requests for info - so just a word of warning to others…luck enough I popped out and did it there and then at local shop, and returned. all good, with my temporary extension noted until the new card comes - estimated October by the lady that saw us both.

That’s the first time that I’ve heard that one. Presumably it’s a misguided attempt to verify that you’ve kept to minimum requirements for your presence in France.

I haven’t got any entry stamps in my passport and no exit ones either
Presumably they’ll just confirm that at the face-to-face interview..

Sounds like an unjustified data grab by an overzealous administrator.

to give them their due… it is listed as a requirement on the official website

Valid passport (pages relating to civil status, validity dates and entry stamps)

@robwebber I also had my meeting the other week to submit my papers in montpellier, and a couple of weeks before the meeting I received a list of documents to take, including the request to copy any pages in my passport with visas, entry/exit stamps (any country not just France), which I duly did, although I did wonder if it was a good idea as I have russian visas from my previous work life. All papers checked and confirmed ok and I was told the new card will take about 3 months to issue.

Thanks Stella, completely missed that when checking everything a 100 times on what we needed to take.
lucky for us the lady we saw was very kind and gave us 30 mins to pop out and get them all photocopied.

As a foreigner dealing with any sort of French Bureaucracy, I think we all need someone like that when our time comes.
No matter how well prepared I try to be , I dread getting something wrong or omitting something

In the waiting area in the prefecture in Carcassonne there’s a free (I think) photocopier just for such an eventuality. Saw a few people using it when I was there last week.

One would think the entry stamps concerned would be France entry/exit stamps, if so?

Not sure what your query is… they clearly ask for copies of passport pages with entry stamps and that’s what they obviously expect/need to receive

It’s worth saying for others that this form is tailored to individual departments. I’ve no idea whether this particular question is since I obviously have only seen my own, but they are definitely able to change it, for example mine wanted evidence of having been here (tax forms etc) when many didn’t but didn’t want parents birthdates when some did.

Indeed.. and it’s worth suggesting that folk read the info on whichever site is tailored to their department… and then read the info all over again.

It’s easy to miss something… just like Rob did… Just like I probably will…

Incidentally, the Dordogne site … asks for the same Passport pages… but the Charente doesn’t…
