Well the Daily Mail paints a pretty picture

ouch.

Those stories.

Of course bad luck and poor judgment are part of life.

I too have made mistakes but they would have featured in my

life wherever I lived.

Creating a business in Chiswick west London was not a great move

and there were several reasons why it became a drama rather than a

shoppers paradise. I was ripped off by builders who came highly recommended AND there was a major flooding problem related to the

ancient and neglected draining system. That will do for starters.

Since I have been in France I have been through my fair share of ups and downs. Lets face it dealing with banks, gas companies etc it really does not matter which country you are in and what language you speak dealing with them is almost impossible.

But I wonder ....what great fun would I be having in west London?

We all have the time to stop and think about what is best for No 1

and then we go ahead and live that chosen life.

I get the impression that some of these Returners mock France and

blame her for their misfortune.

Catherine perhaps it should have been "Enjoying France"

Are we just surviving?

I think that they are victims, of their own short sightedness.

Well why do these people want everyone to believe that they are victims.

We are all in charge of our own destiny and survive as best we can.

You could do a lot worse than living life in the countryside of France.

Yes an article in the Daily Mail about people who moved to France and are very unhappy.

Noticed it this morning.
