What are chickpeas made of?

No then! Farinata was deep fried and a bit like a small pancake, soft inside and crisp outside.

Had chickpeas as part of my evening meal. Small tin, drained, with one carrot cut into fine battons, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp garam masala, the juice of 1/2 lemon, a pinch (another essential measure) of salt and a small glug (yet another essential measure) of a good olive oil. Delicious.

I had a friend who liked to smear mashed chick peas, sesame seeds, lemon, garlic and olive oil all over his naked body in his bedroom cupboard.

If you ask me, he’s a closet hummusexual.
