That’s what happens when you have added no text, just a quotation from a previous post.
Which appears to be what you have in your screenshot.
Just tried, and the same outcome.
If the reply is too short, it will normally say, that is why I added the extra text.
What extra text did you add? - in your screenshot I can only see some quoted text - which doesn’t count towards the minimum post length.
I quoted one word from Wozza’s post, and added what you can see, on the screenshot.
That’s not what I see - the light grey background with darker grey left edge (encircled below) is all a block of quoted text
Compare with the text above that I quoted from your post.

When you quote some text it inserts a block whick looks like this.

Make sure you add your text after the last “[/quote]” bit

Somewhat longtime in posting my favourite apples
My absolute favourite apple is Beauty of Bath but these really don’t travel and are susceptible to bruising easily. I think they form à part of Discovery Apple. Very delicious especially if home grown.
Worcester Pearmain if you can find it now.
Russets have a nice nutty flavour and go well with a good cheese and some cobnuts.
Everyone loves Cox’s but there seems to be a variation of these nowadays. Some better than others
For cooking, Bramley is unbeatable.
