I think we maybe taxed higher and don’t benefit from such great services but the shareholders do.
I could easily live in Suffolk. Only been there once but I loved the place. Ghost Ship is Adnams is it not? Yum!

Corona zero tastes better IMO.
Adnams is struggling a bit and recently closed several shops and sold off non core assets to reduce borrowing costs, I hope they survive as most of their beers are decent and served in great pubs.

Hopefully this decline in the industry has been recognised by Andy Burnham who will assist somewhat.
Interesting, I feel a bit like that here sometimes. Sometimes its easy to love, other times not so much! But for me going back would be Oz not UK.
My sister is in Herefordshire, on the Wye, lovely part of the world and if I ever had o live in the UK would be on my list.

I would probably return to Scotland if the far right governed France. If they didn’t expel me first, that is. The timeline for that possibility probably, hopefully, means I would die here first.

And even more distracting when it is a patchouli scented one, which happened to me recently at a concert in a tiny church. I now loathe patchouli at the best of times (hippy hangover) and this was awful.

I lived there for 20 years and there is no way I’d live there again.
Even London Pride on tap and at least one curry house per square mile wouldn’t make it bearable.

Oh, that made me laugh out loud. 
Actually the family and I got involved in the big gay pride march down Broadway in Nashville in 2025 by accident whilst trying to cross to the other side., we just kinda got swept along with it.The people were really friendly and kept giving away cans of drink and there was not a single bit of trouble and I only saw two typical god botherers with their placards the whole time condemning it.
I am in my 80s and living alone since my wife passed away. I have lived in France for nearly thirty years and have family living in Canada, the USA and the UK. Where I live is not ideal. It is, literally, at the end of the line. I cannot stay here easily without a car. And, at my age, my ability to drive safely might become questionable.
My family have persuaded me to move back to the UK and have helped me to buy a flat very close to my daughter. In fact she found it and looked after the admin.
I am looking forward , hopefully, to having the opportunity to rediscover the country of my birth.
