Many thanks for the nursery links but Hmm, after a 2 min look at Promessedefleurs I see Sarcococca, Loropetalum and Mahonia Charity listed as Mediterranian plants!
I’ve used jardin Express, very good, healthy little plants also http://www.promessedefleurs.com/ highly recommended. Plus if you want to have a particular colour scheme, they make life much easier. When you go to the garden centre you can bet that if you want 20 blue pansies, for example, they’ll only have 5, some of which have been over/under watered, manhandled or have whitefly!
Hi Colin like yourself I am disappointed with the quality of plants in France the price is outrageous, for what I paid at my local garden centre I could have stocked the grounds of a stately home in the uk, have you tried www.jardinexpress.fr, closer to uk prices but quality I don’t know but will order soon so watch this space, as for temperatures its still far to warm down here in the Tarn
