The curry evening with the balti lamb pasanda was a great success, hence no blog yesterday. I was so pleased that all my guests made it safely home before the snow settled. Everything is covered in a white blanket and the eerie dampened silence that comes with it. Two cars passed the house today, both of the 4x4 variety. Even if I had had my car I would not be venturing out. We hunkered down to sit out the snow; the power went off and I cooked supper by candlelight. Almost romantic, but I couldn't really tell what I was doing...
eary silence here too... I'm sitting in my classroom at the IUT in Figeac without a single student! I managed to get in from the aveyron 30km away, they can't get up the hill from the town centre!!! still gives me time to answer people on sfn! ;-)
