A couple of visitors to the pond !

I’ve been strimming the back Collie garden today…I spotted this little one carrying her babies

so left her to it and started strimming elsewhere…when I went back I found her moving with an enormous amount of fortitude towards the border…I’m always amazed at the lengths a mother will go to and pleased that I noticed her and didn’t leave her fatally wounded by strimming her legs off or killing her…

I found a youngster sitting on the road and gently moved it to the verge…

It looked big enough to fly and perhaps it was simply exhausted… anyway, it pooped its thanks onto the envelope I used to shift it … hope the postman doesn’t notice.
