We told our pup that Santa didn’t exist when he was 3. He was disappointed, but has got over it.

I’ve always shielded our pets’ ears from such nonsense. Seems to work, never heard the word Santa yet. 
I must admit I brought back a cat stocking from Oz one year, Oscar wasn’t impressed 
. This year we have a crazy 6 month kitten, a bit worried about the tree tbh!!!

I have always been surprised that although we have 3 Christmas trees and lots of decorations, none of our 9 cats have ever shown any interest in them, leave an empty box though and it will get demolished right away
