Wordle Solveur

I’ve searched on the Wordle thread but it’s so long that I’ve had no success.

I have been doing French Wordle (Wordle.louan) 82 times with a 95% success rate.

I would like to use a help site occasionally Which one do you recommend? I find D-Code Solveur too cumbersome.

Where’s the fun/challenge in having a website that solves it for you?

There aren’t any “cheat” ideas on the Wordle thread. It would take the fun and challenge out of doing it.
95% success is exactly the same as me, I reckon thats not too bad for a 2nd language

Nope, no short cuts on the Wordle/Le Mot thread! Although very, very occasionally people provide a teeny, tiny hint to people who are on their last line and wavering between options.

The ‘Solveur’ websites don’t solve the word for you. Far from it. They can make it harder as they sometimes give you too many possibilities. You still need to employ your grey cells.

As French is my second language, I find that I sometimes need help.

I usually solve the vowels by line 3 but struggle after that.

I suppose there are crossword/scrabble sites which you could use.

I don’t know any and I don’t think anyone here uses such a thing as it takes all the fun out of it :slightly_smiling_face:

On 2 or 3 occasions I have had four letters in the right places, and out of the remaining letters it is possible to make several plausible-sounding words but none are words that I know, then I make a list and look each up in turn in a dictionary to see if it exists. I have learned a couple of new words that way and I regard it as educating myself rather than cheating. The only other way to finish the puzzle would be to try the letters and wait to see whether or not it is accepted as a word, which seems a bit pointless - it is not meant to be a guessing game.

Except like today in Wordle when you have to guess which of several options to try!

And many times there are more options than chances to get it right, very much a guessing game!

Yes it can work out like that. Although today, after the 4th go I had the first letter and the last three letters in the right places, so there was really only one possibility.

I guess laver bread is not really a UK delicacy!

Laver bread?
I think we may be at cross purposes, the one I do is the French wordle.louan.me.
