Monday is the start of Worldwide Jellyweek 2013 (which is nothing to do with fruit jam or puddings!).
A Jelly is a free event that brings people together in a relaxed and friendly environment. These events are organised by volunteers and offer people a place to get some work done, somewhere different, and meet new people in the process. If you frequently work from home you may find this a welcome change!
The Jellyweek website states, “The purpose of Jellyweek is to foster the emerging culture of new forms of work and collaboration, to strengthen local communities of all kinds and to build new friendships and collaborative structures between them globally.”
2 events are taking place next week in the Hérault and the Gard.
- Thursday 17th - Montpellier, Hérault
- Friday 18th - Anduze, Gard
Participating in the events is free but places are limited so should be reserved in advance here http://languedocjelly.eventbrite.com
Other events are taking place across France - check out the #jellyweek map on Google
