Was it you that made all the crochet throws at the lycée? :rofl:

I’ve never done a granny square blanket!

I made one, it has a red middle as far as I remember! It looks a bit like this (I’m using up all my little bits of wool)

Haha, I’ll have a look tomorrow :rofl::rofl::pink_heart::pink_heart::yarn::yarn:

Yes I saw it yesterday :rofl::rofl:, couldn’t take a photo as some one was sat near it. Was a bit odd all but about 3 were missing, taken for a wash maybe?

I’m envious of anyone who can produce items like these. They are beautiful. Try as I may, I just can’t crochet. I can knit OK and over the years I’ve made some pretty good stuff but as for crocheting, I’m definitely at the back of the class. My S-I-L has sat with me over the years trying to teach me how but I just can’t get it. I suppose you can’t be good at everything. I’m not much cop at sewing either. I can darn a pair of socks and sew on a button but that’s about all.

YouTube tutorials are your friend. My mother was very good at crochet not that she did a lot of it, but refused to teach me because I was too stupid, so I learnt on YouTube :slightly_smiling_face:

One of my crocheted giant granny-square blankets got a direct hit from a spitting log and had a nasty burnt hole through two rows but I had some of the wool left over and have mended it. I wanted to show a daughter how I did it but now I can’t find the mended bit so I’m very happy. It just took a bit of thinking how to fix it.

I may come back to you if I can’t work out how to repair. My 100% wool ripple blanket has a hole :weary_face:

Stick it in the car and bring it on Tuesday!
