Grr just did a big post and came back to finish and it had gone!!
I’ve not crocheted for a few years. This summer I’ve got my mojo back! These are the projects I’ve finished for my neices, nephew and a friends new baby!
I started working in a bunch of flowers before I started the kids stuff. Most of the parts are completed just need putting together.
It’s too fiddly to work on when watching TV so I want to make myself something cosy for winter. I sent hubby to the terrifying storage room (little bats) and got out all my yarn boxes. I’m thrilled I have a much better stash than I remembered. I started sorting and writing down what I have so I can check a list before buying more in future! Good use of a wet afternoon! I thought of you
@Jane_Williamson how to you organise your stash?
Anyone else crafting at the moment?

I have only done cross stitch at school I think but as a teen I did a few long stitch projects which I enjoyed. I wonder where they are …
I found my Japanese apron I made a few years ago and wore it today, I’d forgotten how fab and hsndy they are!

My biggest crochet project was a suit which I wore to my cousin’s wedding.
I have a blanket for my legs which I crocheted from left over wool, lovely and warm.
My latest project is a beret from the wonderful site Woolly Wormhead if you would like to knit a distinctive hat either gor yourself or a present.
Ohhh which one? There are loads!
Did you see my question from yesterday?

I should find some hat patterns I like as I have a feeling a lot of my stash won’t be making anything much bigger!
I would like to try again. I did some when I was a teenager, then retaught myself continental style after I’d started crocheting about 15 years ago as I kept seeing patterns I loved. I only made 1 thing though, I think it was The Steampunk (steam something!) kerchief. I enjoyed it but guess I’ll have to relearn! A job for the winter!
Armley on page 3.
I keep my wool in big polythene containers from IKEA.

Phew, that was a big job. Finished going through a huge plastic box and 2 smaller ones, reacquainted myself with what I have and other than single balls of random stuff have listed in a book, under weight headings, what yarns I have
, how many grams/metres of each, what they are made of and colour! Hoping just a quick look in the book and I can search on Ravelry by metres to find patterns to start using some of it up!

I am making it for my daughter in Munich, she already has the Toph hat from Woolly Wormhead in black and white.
She wears it nearly every day in winter.
I am just waiting for her head size to start.
I have wool in the same turquoise colour as the picture.

I’ve just finished my forty-second cross stitch Christmas card. Only thirty-one to go.
I learned to crochet when l spent seven weeks lying on my stomach while pregnant (retroverted womb). A friend brought a craft book which had an enormous crochet hook on the cover, so l taught myself using a ball of string.

Any photos please? I love doing cross stitch - I find it so relaxing even though some of the patterns call for real concentration. Stuart calls it my ‘angry sewing’!
