Quite, there are so many behind-the-scenes deals that we never really know the whole picture!
Indeed, here too> Mine did a short time play with Sophie but was quickly not so keen anymore. Apparently Que Choisir, the french consumer mag also did take up the topic. Worst thing, Vulli doesn't even deny the contents of harmful substances. They were more after how the law is interpreted in Germany.
There are probably tons of stories like these. But in my opinion, at least if you know about something you can act accordingly.
Mine have chewed their way through two Sophies - they're an institution here in France!
