Gross.

I’m not very fond of steamed potatoes but think sautéd and Lyonnaise are far from gross :yum:

It was the awful questioning I found distasteful.

Possibly because they were making fun of the poor woman’s inability to comprehend. Laughter sometimes comes from embarrassment. We ought not to laugh at someone slipping on a banana peel but certainly some do. In Japan there are entire TV shows based on the concept. But such is humour. Sometimes cruel.

It is a bit dangerous on call-in radio because the presenters really don’t know if the person on the other end of the phone has a disability.

I’d add Tarn Et Garonne for the Occitanie speakers that sound like drunken Basques.
