Anyone else turned the CH back on?

Have given in, going to be like Satan’s kitchen in this house later

Hmm.. this afternoon it is 30c in the shade outdoors (heaven knows what it is in the sun) but it is too hot to walk up the street.
Happily the house has only risen from 18c this morning to 21c right now.. (4.15) and shouldn’t get any warmer.. . hurrah.

Well I got the grass cut this morning before 12, all nicely sweaty afterwards. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m grateful our house is cool, although we might well eat dinner on the patio later.

The portable A/C has been deployed to the bedroom and function tested ready for the sticky 20+°C nights.

Dinner eaten on the patio, now sat in the sunshine as the sun goes down.

It’s almost too hot for sensible thought outdoors, 33c in the shade and barely a whiff of a breeze..
but indoors, this morning started at 21c upstairs and down…
and is now at 6pm: 25c upstairs and 23c downstairs so the heat is sneaking in somewhere.
we did have a nice siesta after lunch .. what a lazy life

It’s 24 in the living room and 30 outside. Hot air rises so the bedroom tonight might be warmer. As soon as the temperature falls I’ll open the windows. I imagine that might be quite late.

No CH or poële for a while now! It’s very warm today but I`m not complaining (yet). But I have decided to ditch the duvet for something lighter.

About 30 outside, doors and windows shut to help maintain the 22 inside.
