I went to the prefecture today and explained my issue. The form was not accepting a date of expiry after february 06, 2026. They discovered a bug and now have fixed it on their system .

Ha, you should be awarded France Nationality for exceptional services to the state! (or maybe not, rather exceptional service to UK immigrants…. )
