Article 50 TUE/Article 18(1) Brexit CdS - 5 Year Renewal

Hmm, don’t want to stir up strife, but am really not getting the problem? I deleted my whole post. Two posts from two different bodies that address the same issue happens from time to time and shouldn’t be contentious (as long as not from (eg) extreme right wing bodies).

I won’t go into it here. I agree it shouldn’t be an issue but it’s best they are separate.

Brexit, the gift that just keeps giving!

I have also been given a generic form to fill in, no sign of WARP or article 50 anywhere on the form .

This is asked for in many situations, not just renewing CdS’s.

Frankly, even if not asked for, I would always take with me a paper copy of whatever I’d been asked to send prior. :+1:

Unfortunately without knowing who your prefecture is, it’s difficult to advise.

If they have asked for these documents then unfortunately at this point you have to comply.

The new DS system is asking for the basic documents and for your RDV a copy of the same documents plus the originals, so it sounds like your prefecture are applying their normal rules for everyone rather than for Article 50 holders. If it’s a generic form, and I have seen a huge amount of these, then there won’t be an Article 50/Article 18(1) mentioned on it, so just ensure that you note this name on the form and click renouvellement.

Just as a side note, none of the prefecture know what a warp is, it doesn’t exist it’s just name adopted by the Embassy. You will only find references to an Article 50 TUE/Article 18(1) or Brexit, CdS.

We did make a note on the form.

Then you should be fine and yes I agree the card should make it obvious.

It seems to me different prefectures are asking for different things, not based on official requirements.

Who is your prefecture please.

Clearly one that is not going through ANEF.

Thank you. I don’t have an update on this prefecture yet but they shouldn’t be asking for his pension statement as there are no income requirements nor language. They also shouldn’t be asking for impots but it depends if you want to argue with them or not.

The form asks for language aptitude.

Is this what they have asked for as additional information or are you referring to the application form.

As your prefecture is an online RDV and then to take a copy and originals of the documents required.

But I think part of this may be that they are using a generic form which asks for details first time applications might need.

I’m still not sure, if you are only filling in the application form and its NOT additional info you have been asked for.

You stick a line through income to say non applicable Article 50, the same for language.

The form is a generic one.

Take your last impot and your Ameli attestation de droits with you to the appointment but only if they ask for this information should you supply it, a few have asked for this extra info.

Generic form with a generic letter I think.

I don’t know if you have a copy of this, but it’s the official list from the MOI, although the link says the Loirot prefecture, the form is the same for everyone.

The first part is relevant only as you have been here 5 years.

Liste de pièces justificatives pour la délivrance d’un titre de séjour

and this is the link to the official service-public site for Brexit cards.

Wow !! No one yet has reported being asked for these and we’ve had a few that have been making their applications over the last 2-3 months.

5 years tax notices, recent certificate of pension, energy bill showing usage over5 years, a certificate of presence.

I would feel awkward suggesting to them that I don’t need to send all this stuff to them, i don’t want to put our renewal in jeopardy.
