I think the Lord Lucan disappearance could be construed as a baffling mystery.

It took 13 years to find Radovan Karadzic who was found disguised as a practising therapist. I remember that huge beard and hippy top-knot he was sporting in the newspapers back then when he was arrested.

Lord Lucan was declared dead by presumption. He may still be around somewhere, aged 91!

Looking like this if he’s still around.

Why did God or whoever designed the human body, not make our arms just a bit longer in order to be able to completely scratch our own backs ?

We don’t swing through trees any more when back scratching perhaps was at its peak. Walking and shorter arms was the trade off I guess.

I did yoga for many years and I can still reach those areas that need a good scratch, though it’s with a lot more effort!

I can still do the reverse prayer, this isn’t me…wish it was!

Could have been worse, what about T Rex arms :joy:

When someone was slow paying their share of the bill we’d call it ā€œcrocodile armsā€ - difficulty reaching the wallet in their pocket.

Why, when my cat’s breath smells like something died in his mouth, does his pelt (which he grooms assiduously) smell like a cologne I’d happily wear?

Our animaux de compagnie get kibbles from the vet’s surgery that cleans their teeth so thankfully we don’t have that problem, not least because our cat is almost too affectionate - many head butts every day. Recommend Hill’s essentials for mature and adult cats - Dental

The vet says his teeth are good, and he has a chew toy (one a month) which he adores and which seems to work. It seems to contain crack cocaine, because the only time he has ever raised a paw to me (or to anyone: I can still remember how he looks piteously at me when the vet takes his temperature) is when I tried to take it from him.

His French diet includes more insects than it used to. Maybe that’s the problem.

Apart from his kibbles, ours has an unofficial, but strictly rodent diet, whose spectrum runs from pygmy shrews to adult rats.

It’s a mystery how we ever got anything done before ChatGPT was available.

I’m managing quite nicely thank you. I have as little to do with AI as possible.

Quite right Chris, being told the ā€œtruthā€ by a mega rich corporation is just straight out of a Scifi fikm.
