I will confess to using AI features in photo editing software, but as sparingly as possible. I use AI sharpening, and AI background replacement to remove things like fire extinguishers or exit signs:
But I won’t touch AI fake image generators with a bargepole.
It may well be Corona but I don’t think I know ANYONE who doesn’t use Google. I have been using it since before it became a verb!

Remember when Alta Vista was the search engine of choice? As a user, I miss the days of the internet being a playground for the lucky few
I do. I was using yahoo when alta vista arrived. While they were battling it out, a little later some students at UCL London told me about a new, little known software that could knock the socks off both of them. This became Google although I think it had a different name to begin with.
I remember before Alta Vista existed. First used the web early 1994 using the Mosaic browser. I designed analogue modems at the time and our Rockwell International rep gave me the browser and details of some websites. It wasn’t that exciting.
I’m a relative newcomer then, not using it until 95. I’d actually forgotten Yahoo, and my first personal home browser was Netscape Navigator.
Back in 1982 I invited to dinner by telex the man who would become my husband less than a year later. A lot of technological progress in the last forty odd years but I’m still working on the same husband.
Do you still talk to him by telex?
