I actually feel ashamed to be British at times when one of the bastions (so-called) of democracy is being destroyed by a bunch of self-centered sychophantic chancers.
I’m not a violent man though I would find it difficult to resist smacking some of them in the gob !
Rant over.

I listened with great interest to Tony Blair on All Out Politics with Adam Bolton this morning.
TB was never my most favourite person in politics in the past but what a statesman he has turned out to be.
His commentary about the Tories and führer faridge’s Brexit Party was really measured and put together with Alistair Campbell’s commentary yesterday, you can see why these two were the ā€˜dream’ team.
Watching Ann Widdecombe acting like ā€˜mini me’ looking up to her new found hero made me sick.

Pity TB can’t be lured back into mainstream politics.

On balance - it probably isn’t.

Can’t be any worse than the useless bunch of tw@ts currently running the country’s affairs just now (or the ones to follow after TMs departure)

Well, true - but with vastly more political baggage.

On the same day as it’s announced the Labour Party is to be investigated by the EHRC it expels Alastair Campbell for daring to vote for someone else, could UK politics get any crazier?

Bloody crazy.
Jezza has to go…

Jeremy Hunt seems to understand what they are all up against, but the arrogant idiot that is MF lives in another world.

Does he?

He might recognise that no deal would be a bad idea - but seems to worry about the future of the Tory party first and the country dim and distant second.

He still advocates going back and renegotiating the backstop which the EU have said categorically is not an option.

He still favours mythical ā€œtechnological solutionsā€ to the problem of the UK border in Ireland.

He still trots out the ā€œno deal is better than a bad deal or no Brexitā€ trope.

Not sure he’s a lot different to any of them.

Jess Philips has tweeted about Alistair Campbells’ expulsion
ā€œYep I do have thoughts, he was expelled quicker than a man who threatened to kill me, quicker than a man in my CLP who denied the Holocaust, both are only still suspended. ā€œ
Priorities are wrong somewhere

I wonder if Alistair Campbell will be getting a job offer from LibDem HQ?

He is just trying to differentiate himself from Boris et al.
I really wonder why so many people want to take on this poisoned chalice.

Because they are all egotistical bastards who think that they will have a statue of themselves on College Green one day for ā€˜Making Britain Great’…

Sorry…I gotta puke…:face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

D-day for Boris’s campaign?

Things could get complicated for Bo-Jo -

Hmmm, interesting. I still think that it will be difficult to prove but this judgement is fairly significant in its own right.
