This thin skinned, irrational and unpredictable narcissist has to be confronted, painful as that may be, before he does something really stupid. He has surrounded himself with too many nasty people to mention, but even amongst that dross of humanity this vicious little trouble maker stands out.
This assault on the EU will not be stopped through more appeasement and Trump is vulnerable at home. Of the eight threatened countries seven have reacted appropriately, Starmer and the UK are unfortunately the weakest link. Nevertheless, the EU needs a strong response, the Anti-Coercion Instrument, if the new tariffs are introduced.
It looks to me as if Trump (Millar) interpreted the sending of troops to Greenland not as a precursor to bolstering NATO security, but as a precaution against US aggression. Hence the vicious tariff backlash. On such simple misunderstandings wars have started. .
Trump will be POTUS until 2028 or he is dead. He may not have as much power after the midterms, but he will still have the playful executive branch, SCOTUS and likely the Senate. All the House can do is investigate, but Team Trump will just ignore subpoenas. I really don’t think much will change next year, no matter how unpopular he SEEMS to be. There have been plenty of POTUSes in the 20% approval range and only one resigned- Trump won’t.
Remember, the Democrats held the House during Trump 1.0 from 2019_20 and not much was different, in fact 6 Jan still happened. This time there are no adults on Team Trump. They just do not care. They are going to do what they want.
I am also afraid that SCOTUS will soon shoot down all his tariff related nonsense, because it is nonsense. Only congress has that power, short of emergencies, which have not happened. I think Trump knows that the jig is up and will take military action of some sort on poor Greenland before his tariffs are deemed unlawful by SCOTUS.
I would hope that IF Mr Store deigns to reply, he tells Trump that ‘Norway’ doesn’t issue Nobel prizes, for peace or anything else, and leaves it at that.

Sounds like the ICJ and UN could, at one time, have declared the entire British Empire ‘illegal’.
So, will we see Trump claiming it , as it’s ‘up for grabs’ (I know it isn’t but we’re talking about Trump ) and telling ICJ and UN to take a hike? What could they do?
