Cat photos only

We were ‘gifted’ three 2-week old feral kittens from our neighbour - they had been abandoned and he is not a cat person.
We decided to keep all three as the local cat recovery farm could not take them. That was at the beginning of August. They have proved to be absolutely adorable - they certainly keep us on our toes and have changed our lives like we never thought possible. We are in the process of building them a catio and have some superb ideas for a cat-walkway for them. One of the pictures show them on the day we got them - all huddled together and the other photos show how well they have grown - the photos show them at between 8-10 weeks old. The tabby and white is named Tabatha, the grey is Charlee (female) and the black and white one is Bobby aka Big Boy Bobby. It’s only been a couple of months since we’ve had them but we couldn’t imagine our lives without them now. They are full of fun, very sharp and can climb, and jump up the wall, up the curtains, over all the furniture and as we write this, Charlee is wanting to learn to touch type on the computer - LOL !!

This is Dexter, the craziest cat I’ve ever lived with :slightly_smiling_face:

When I sit down on the settee and have food in front of me, there he is, with his two front paws on the corner of the table staring up at me with an unblinking eye-to-eye contact which doesn’t waver, and he doesn’t move, remains rigid.

Toerag remains completely still, staring, but his head moves sideways around the smartphone to continue that unmoving unblinking eye-to-eye contact. His eyes are riveted to mine, in complete silence.

My chief plate licker!

When I want some cheer, I look at SF photos of member’s puss-cats and doggos.

Bliss!

No photos! My neighbour’s cat came into my house one day and gave birth to five kittens, because my neighbour, over several years, always drowned the kittens at birth - her cat was constantly pregnant!

This was her last litter and her kittens were born next to me on the settee within 20 minutes while I was watching TV. She raised them behind an armchair in a corner of the room, on a folded-up blanket. My neighbour didn’t know but her two young kids did, and kept mum!

One of the kittens, Fanny, learned how to open drawers when she was about a year old. I’m not sure how she learned but have a theory. I may have posted this video before. Can’t find it so I post it again.

I watch it now and again for the memory & enjoyment.

(Can dogs open drawers? I bet some can open kitchen cupb’d doors if there’s food involved!)

It’s only taken 4 years :slightly_smiling_face:, but after a lot of coaxing and some bribery, the last two feral cats brother and sister Monty and Chell graced me with their presence last night, they are a bit heavy on your lap but I was happy they trust us enough now.

That’s a very comprehensive cat buffet you’ve provided. And it looks as if they appreciate it

With 9 cats you don’t get away with one plate
First thing in the morning is like feeding time at the zoo, most of them prefer kibble rather than wet food, but it still expensive for the week, between the cats, dog, chickens ,geese and fish they eat better than we do :yum:

Our kitten has been a bit mardy the last month. I read they are teething around 5 months. He hasn’t been very cuddly. Tonight he was just loving a stroke / cuddle
