Thank you all for being so kind in replying to my post re catering for my daughter’s wedding.
I have passed some suggestions on to my daughter but it would appear that the original caterer has now come back to them. So fingers crossed all will be fine. Thank you again.

I now see you have asked Tracey, a mutual friend if we have a restaurant and now you have put on here you think we own a campsite. We don’t.
My post was a genuine post. Why are you suggesting it is something suspicious.

But I did want to help you find someone to cater for your daughters
wedding. Your first choice of caterer would have been someone whom I would have
suggested to ask.
I am glad that he came back to you and that all goes well for the wedding plans.
Who is Jane? You have mentioned her at least twice and she isn’t part of the discussion

Barbara may have you mixed up with somebody else, called Jane, who has or has had a camp site etc etc

I am organising for 2018. If you send me a Pm I will pass his number to you. He is used to cooking for large numbers of guests.

I waited 2 months before I got a quotation, so you have to be a little patient unfortunately. Especially if they work or run Restuarants, they are really busy. If you are looking for a Wedding planner, give me a PM I have been a WP for many years.

Yes I thought I would have heard back
People are coming back to me slowly,but surely, the problem is people don’t realize that New Years Eve Catering, Music and hiring of equipment is always double and sometimes treble, butunfortunately that is how it is. As you have said before.
If you want something really special, this will be the place, I guarantee it.
What is on offer for 100 euros is not expensive, 5 piece swing all evening and everyone who know George Smith knows that it is going to be a good night. the food, what a lovely menu,
including bottle of Red, White and Rose wine, and champage, plus favours, novelties, Decorations, hire of equipment. I have had quotes from 4 other caterers, all roughly the same price for NYE.

I am sending this reply to you know that people who read this will comment, but that is up to them, I know comments will be ‘it is too expensive, they must be making a lot of money on this’,
There are people in this world who just passionate and love organizing things for other people so they can enjoy themselves without putting money in their pocket, I just want people to see what a beautiful Chateau du Parc is, for any future venues for weddings and other events. New people have recently bought the Chateau and so this is the reason I planned this event for them.

I agree, for people who like that sort of thing the price seems good. Just having a fairly normal meal out in New Year’s Eve can work out fairly expensive.

Have just read the other posts regarding the NYE extravaganza - sounds great. We are based in the UK now Laraine otherwise would most definitely be asking for tickets.
I don’t look on Survive France regularly , and as I thought our wedding catering problem had been solved did not rush to get back on the site. As my prev post, unfortunately this is not the case so any further suggestions will be most gratefully received.
