Suez is an odd name for a dump. Conjures up images of blokes in red fez hats and robes and sandals wandering about directing the public where to put their rubbish.
It’s a French company! The actual name of the location is the Witley Community Recycling Centre, but it’s operated by Suez:

Yes we have had Veolia in the Uk as well.
The council puts bin collection and waste management out to tender every few years so it varies, but currently Biffa empty our bins and Suez do the processing at our tip!
We see Suez quite a lot here, usually tankers.
I think there was a move in the French Parliament to cancel the scheme, but hasn’t actually happened yet (and may not).
