Just seen this on YT, not just about dogs but nice anyway:
Looks like our late Syd
I hope that is a window ledge and not a counter. ![]()

Rona at the osteopath/acupuncturist today.
Rona came to us at 9 months and within weeks she had been operated on - both “elbows” with a form of dysplasia. X-rays identified that she also had hip dysplasia and we were all set for another operation some months later, when I baulked at the whole idea of a young dog being operated on for a second time and then in strict convalescence for weeks. So I said we’d try osteopathy and acupuncture first.
Rona has been seeing Dr Chambon in Libourne for over a year now, initially every 3 months, now every 6. Dr Chambon is wonderful.
They adore each other and the treatment has been phenomenally successful. Rona is strong, jumps in and out of the car, runs, can keep going for ages. And has full flexibility in her elbows and her hips. She totally accepts the needles and the joint manipulation. I thoroughly recommend the alternative approach.
She’s beautiful Sue, I’m so pleased she’s responding so well to treatment. I still miss our slightly mad Airedale.
What an absolutely beautiful dog Rona is. And I’m so glad this therapy works for her. Thank you for the photos Sue ![]()
She is - she is our sixth Airedale and we’ve loved all of them, but there is something quite magical about Rona - people stop us in the street and say how beautiful she is.
Beauty! I’m still cross she stayed at home when you came on your booze drop
come for lunch/ tea whatever soon!
Does she do people too? Can I sign up? Rona looks really to be enjoying it.
Sadly not. ![]()
They both enjoy it. At the beginning they were nose to nose! And when she was putting in the needles Rona was leaning on her, under her arm, with her full weight.
Can you see Dr Chambon’s smile in the third photo? Rona is out of focus unfortunately but I love Dr C’s expression.
Yes I saw that. Did you see she has the IKEA rollalong trolley with trays (turquoise) in the 2nd picture? She might not know IKEA now does a wooden optional top for the tray part, it’s not expensive and makes another surface on top of the tray if desired.
Gorgeous. ![]()
And big, I thought Jules was big at 38 kgs, but Raffy is in the high 50s I think. ![]()
Do you think I may stay warm this winter? ![]()
He looks lovely, I hope he and Jules get on ![]()
Wouldn’t fancy your dog meat bill, @David_Spardo ! But I’m sure they’re worth it.
I never realised dogs sleeping on the bed was a thing. Cats, obviously.
