Didn’t watch the predictable England borefest but watched Netherlands v Turkey. Cracking game that could have gone either way.

I watched England. It was a frustrating performance.
Caught the second half of the Netherlands v Turkey game on +1. Agree with you that it was brilliant. There were more chances in the Extra Time than I think there were in the whole of the England game.
Also watched Los Pumas v France in the rugby… That was a great game too. Despite many of the top players being absent, France played brilliantly (at least in the 2nd half anyway). Some great younger players, which suggests that the future of French rugby looks very promising.
I have found that the combination of tennis from somewhere else, then Wimbledon (which might be more interesting if Vinnie Jones was involved), and footie plus long distance cricket and rugby has meant that for many weeks now I have only watched tv on average 2 programmes a night. And one of them has been Channel 4 News (if I don’t miss it beause it has been shifted somewhere else).
On the other hand, I have been doing a lot more reading, so perhaps not a bad thing. 
I was chanel surfing last night and started the search at BBC1 just as the penalties were begining, thats as much of that as I can take but nice to see the guys finding the back of the net.
I watched it all but felt no allegiance to the england team these days. France, well thats closer to home for me now and means more.when they win games.
Being Scottish it was allez les bleus for me but the first half of my duo went out so now I’m banking on the remaining one.
I’ve been watching the Tour de France on ITV4 - much more fun!
Mark Cavendish getting his 37th stage win to beat Eddie Mercx’ record is the highlight so far.
No Brits or French in real contention for the Maillot Jaune this year but it’s still a good contest.

I’m watching the Spain v France game. So far gr8 definitely not going to fall asleep if it carries on like this

It’s the best performance by France in the tournament. It’s ironic that, having not scored until today, they’re going to lose to an own goal 
But some of the skill shown by Spain was marvellous. A great game to watch!

I was looking forward to France scoring in the last minutes, so could go into extra time. Great game, especially liked that Spain still stayed attacking rather than all in defense.

I enjoyed it and hoped to goodness it would not go to penalty shoot-out as that to me is like sticking a nail in a tyre. That 16 year old spaniard is going to be the next big thing after Mbappé.
Just hoping Netherlands win now. England are like a wet blanket on the tournament. Let’s have a final that’s exciting to watch.

They act like prima donnas, the lot of them because they are worth millions and feel they are special. They have done nothing special so far,so yes, Netherlands to win.
Thought there’d be at least one post b4 or during the game. From what I’m seeing England 
looking good. Hope I haven’t spooked it!
