I hate sport, at least watching other people do it, my French satellite dish is out of kilter at the moment, is there any petanque on French telly at the moment? Seriously thinking of taking it up again.

I’m quite torn. While it’s good to see a UK team win, I don’t really want to hear about it for the next 60 years*, like 1966.
*Noting that this would require a miracle of science.

As regards the map @Gareth , does that mean our only friend in the world is Russia? I think that gives you your answer regarding accuracy.

Yup, just found ours for our Renault on the dresser in the kitchen. 
Sue - there’s no point putting your CritAir sticker on the dresser, unless you’re planning to drive the dresser into a clean air zone…

Goodness I just caught sight of that match and couldn’t help noticing the hideous hairstyles of many England players, they look like Normans on the Bayeux Tapestry, or Blackadder in the first series.
Unless of course, you’ve got the kitchen table on that side.
Thing is, if you’re young, very rich and with lots of spare time much of it is spent in either the tattooist or the hair salon. But if you’re white hair extensions and African hairdos arent an option, so instead the hair gets shorter and shorter. At least that’s my theory.
This is a good argument for African hair styles not being copied by Europeans.
