More what they say than how they say it.

You a Reform supporter then John?
There are only a few reasons I can see for being a member of Reform. Being terminally gullible is one, being on the make (ie a shyster like Farage) is another, being a thug with Nazi tendencies would also qualify, and, of course, being a halfwit. None of those categories are accent dependent IMO ![]()
Just disgusted with the use of English by someone with a supercilious attitude to boot.
Harmless yet dangerous. Eg.
No not a reform supporter. Not a restore, conservative nor lib dem and certainly not this version of the green party.
A life long labour man who votes no more. Blair and the core values he abandoned sickened me.starmer even worse.
Is it just a co incidence that Eric Arthur Blair wrote 1984? ![]()
You forgot the animal tendency = sheep or lemmings
Nadine doesnât actually have a job now does sheâŠ?
" Supercilious is an adjective that describes someone who behaves as if they are better or more important than other people"
I donât believe Iâm better than someone who supports Farage and his motley crew John. I know Iâm better
After all, being better than Farage is a very, very low bar.
If you donât mind me saying, you should. Your vote could be the one that tips the election in the right direction ![]()
Just think of what a shambles Farage would create. Things are difficult enough already, but the UK, France and Germany run by the far right is a very scary proposition. And if Vance, or even little Marco were to replace Trump ![]()
But thatâs what the RW love - left leaning voters who are too hacked off to even bother.
You are not choosing a life partner, the fit does not have to be perfect - it never will be anyway. If you truly despise Reform, Restore or even the Lib Dems or Greens then go and bloody vote Labour even if you are not too pleased with them at the moment because the alternative is worse.
We know most lie. But to get convicted it has to be realky extreme and totally unrefutable. To me, that makes them unvoteable.
Apparently there isnât room, sadly. ![]()
- PadmĂ© Amidala: âThe trouble is that people donât always agree. In fact, they hardly ever do.â
- Anakin Skywalker: âThen they should be made to.â
- PadmĂ© Amidala: âBy whom? Whoâs going to make them?â
- Anakin Skywalker: âI donât know. Someone.â
- PadmĂ© Amidala: âYou?â
- Anakin Skywalker: âOf course not me.â
- PadmĂ© Amidala: âThat sounds an awful lot like a dictatorship to me.â
- Anakin Skywalker: [Smiles] âWell, if it worksâŠâ [1]
Pass me my lightsaber ![]()
Never having seen Starwars I assumed those were light savers and welcomed them as not needing batteries. ![]()
May the Force be with you David,
This bbc headline seems to be (intentionally perhaps) downplaying the recent attack on a protestor at the Reform conference last week. It was more than just a ârowâ.
Edit: oh, thatâs funny⊠The link to the article shows one headline whereas the actual article itself shows another. I wonder why it was changed.
I think the time is coming for another Battle of Cable Street ![]()
The female protestor/victim has apparently phoned into LBC:

I agree John, it seems inevitable. It was before my time but, as I was growing up, we were all aware of Oswald Mosley.
His son carried on the tradition when dressing up as a Nazi when he was chairman of the FIA. Interestingly his grandson is Executive Vice Chair & UK head of Palantir Technologies.
There is a murky underbelly of politics at the moment.
What are they supposed to write - assault? Has an allegation been made? Not yet, so itâs not even an alleged assault. Itâs âan incidentâ.
Yes, while being spanked by three, or was it four, prostitutes.
Palantir is a dangerous organisation involved in the Gaza genocide and ICE, so an ideal home for a Mosley. The Met were even stupid enough to try and award them a tender free contract which Sadiq Khan blocked, now heâs being sued by them.
Things are not looking too good. The AfD win in Magdeburg, proud home of Adolf Diekmann, the SS-SturmbannfĂŒhrer who ordered the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre. The AfD thanked Musk for his support.
