Farage goosed, at last

Based on what I saw, I think “Young woman bashed over the head with a stick by fascist Reform member” would have been appropriate :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s a really good clip, thanks.

I’ve seen videos of two ladies being roughed up, a blonde and a dark haired one.

Did you not hear Jenrick? It was an old guy wielding the stick: if you get by an old guy with a stick it apparently doesn’t count or summat.
Having white hair, qualifing for my state pension, and owning a walking cane, I wonder if Jenrick would care to meet me to discuss physical pain?

It would be a different story if it was his stuck-up excuse of a spouse that was hit by said ‘old guy’:grinning:

The objection I have is to the use of the word “row”. That implies it was nothing more than an argument. The video shows it was more than that, and I don’t think the police would have urged her to come forward if it had just been heated words.

It was an outright crowd assault and should be dealt with as such, not requiring the poor girl to intiate a complaint.

If the police can arrest old folk holding little signs, some in wheel chairs …

Are you saying she did not sue for assault?

I’m not sure whether she did. I think she was interviewed by some of newspapers (unsurprisingly not the Daily Mail or the Telegraph ), and I think she may have appeared on LBC but I don’t know more than that.
