It is if you wrap it around them fully before putting in the oven.

Talking of ticks, well OK 18 months ago 
we still have flys, fruit flys and 2 days ago I picked a huge tick off Loki the cat - seriously it’s the middle of December! I’m really worried all this stuff won’t get killed off / down over winter at this rate 
We can no longer be sure the weather gets cold enough for long enough, or perhaps ticks and other parasites are adapting.
I treat for ticks and fleas (Bravecto) and a wormer all year round, just to be cautious.
