The new study this year 2022 might well turn something up…
“Un nouveau variant COVID-19 a été détecté à l’IHU Méditerranée Infection”, écrivait l’institut sur Twitter le 9 décembre 2021. Fin décembre, des chercheurs français issus de cet IHU ont publié une pré-étude (non validée par les pairs), détaillant la découverte de celui qu’ils appellent “variant IHU”, nommé B.1.640.2. Il y est précisé que ce nouveau variant est porteur de 46 mutations et de 37 délétions, dont 23 sont localisées sur la protéine spike.
Cette pré-étude a été reprise en ce début 2022, avec parfois un ton alarmiste, mais peu de données sont disponibles pour le moment sur ce variant, notamment en raison du petit nombre de cas identifié.

Interesting that it says sante.fr has stopped reporting figures at Departement level since Monday due to “discrepancies”.
I don’t quite want to believe that’s the reason since reporting figures by Departement has been perfectly OK before and has enabled us to keep better track of local danger (or low level of danger, as has mostly been the case here rurally).
What reality are they trying to protect Parisians from now? Or is it us remoter Departements they are trying to protect by suddenly not sharing comparative information?

Matter of opinion, if its been injected into a blood vessel. Doesn’t happen often but does happen.
Does the medical person know if they have injected into a blood vessel???
It’s not obligagtory… but folk can stay if they wish… and it is still advised in certain categories…

Parmi elles, celles qui avaient d’abord été vaccinées avec un vaccin autre que Pfizer ou Moderna, celles qui ont « un terrain allergique connu » ou « un risque accru de faire un choc anaphylactique », les femmes enceintes, les « personnes fragilisées par des maladies chroniques ayant des difficultés éventuelles de mobilité » ou encore celles qui présentent « une anxiété à la vaccination ».

They would if they aspirate, I.e. gently pull back on the plunger for a few seconds. Only a (very) small chance of hitting a blood vessel in a major muscle mass like the upper arm .
