Yes, Orwell’s tale was intended as a caution. What worries me is that it is being treated as a handbook.

The most obviously accessible point of entry to light up inside the body, allowing for the most extensive view of the gooey interior, is the anus.
As far as I’m concerned, all my orifices are 500% off limits to Tory governments, to infinity, stay away, back off, accès strictement interdit.

Good idea. Hopefully there is already unease among Tory MPs (there should be) about how it is all being handled, and the non-role of parliament.

He was perhaps reflecting Mrs Bone’s view as he is known to do
