If I was thirty years younger

I’ve a pal with a Grand Espace, he bought it second hand at a very good price about twelve years ago and it’s done sterling service. Ferries family and friends (and dogs) everywhere, remove the rear seats and it’s a van and he fitted a tow bar and has transported everything from furniture to building materials from as far afield as Dublin.

BTW, here’s Mrs. Scully beside one of those RR Cochon mobiles this morning. Seriously, what sort of bleeding idiots buy this rubbish?

someone with some serious money…

I know some people with serious money but they are not bleeding idiots :joy: in fact they are very discreet. It’s not the money so much (though inequality is another debate) it’s just such a pig of a car, only a “look at me” gauche idiot could buy one. Maybe that’s the difference between old and new money? Now Aston Martins are expensive too, but beautiful with it. :slightly_smiling_face:

I agree - it reminds me of a Mack truck more than anything else. It probably has a CB radio and multiple horn!
