Is Musk the most dangerous man on the planet?

I don’t normally post in the political section, but I’m interested to know what those of you who do think of Musk?

I’ve just seen him with Trump on the BBC news and I think that duo now is very dangerous - Musk especially who I think believes he can rule the world. Some might say he already does.

Until he has access to nuclear weapons, no he isn’t.

Apart from building his own personal NASA, Musk is no different from Zuckerberg.

I think he’s worse.

It makes you control the narative when you buy a toy like X.
Is it actually possible to find the real truth these days? Most of us have been around long enough to see the rich influencers, generations after us are not so blessed and fed a diet of half truths and mis information.

Likewise Gates spending millions on the media to ensure they dont say anything you dont want them to.
Dystopian times.

Remember the cave rescue in Thailand of 12 scouts from a flooded cave? It was organised by Vernon Unsworth, a British cave diver living in Thailand who had spent time during the previous 6 years exploring that cave. Not only did he know the cave better than most, he knew the people who were best experienced to effect the rescue and he was also very experienced at cave rescue himself. It is a question of getting the right people, with the right equipment, to the right place in the system, at the right time. Only experience can equip someone with the knowledge to plan for all eventualities. One thing is certain, if anything goes wrong underwater in a cave – there are no second chances.
In the middle of the very carefully planned rescue, Elon Musk turns up and announces he has a mini submarine which will save the boys lives. Unsworth told Musk where to stick his submarine explaining that it was too rigid to get round the tight bends in the cave. Musk replied on social media saying that Unsworth was a pedo guy, was not a cave diver and was not even part of the rescue.

This resulted in financial problems for Unsworth and ruined some personal relationships so Unsworthy sued Musk for deformation. Musk wheeled out an army of expensive lawyers to defend the case. He couldn’t deny what he had said but “convinced” the judge that the expression “pedo guy” was more or less a term of endearment in South Africa where he was brought up. The court case financially ruined the real hero of the occasion and his reputation never recovered. Musk of course received lots of publicity for his generous offer of help.

Not my favourite person.

Thats as much about America as Musk, not about right or wrong its about who has the deepest pockets. Musk has been brilliant at proving EV’s can work, with the charging infrastructure. His Satelite system is impressive but you cant get away from the fact power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and no one should listen to influencers outside of their chosen fields.

There by hangs the major problem between experts and influencers. An expert has studied for years in their chosen field whereas an influencer is putting their opinions out there around a subject they are interested in and the more controversial the better, more clicks, more money.

Exactly, design or purchase an operating system for a computer and now tell Governments what they should do re pandemics. Stick to your own sick country Gates!

Elon couldnt have got his fat arse into that cave either. Science is corrupted by money in so many fields.

The fact that he thinks AfD and Farage need to be praised and encouraged demonstrates exactly what sort of a person he is. Ugh.

Answering the question posed by the article’s heading: I would say definitely, at least one of the most dangerous! Not only for the U.S. but the world. His ego is grandiose, doesn’t live in reality, has no knowledge of how the U.S. government/Congress works, and doesn’t give a rat’s ass about anybody but himself and his pocketbook. Same for Trump. Even Trump is tiring of Elon. Takes away his thunder. Vivek is just as bad. None of these guys have a clue. TOTAL disaster imo. I’m just glad I’m here and not back in U.S.
