I recently saw this and thought of you Peter - However l don’t see why it is called a ‘disorder’ more like a personality trait and not Narcissistic as you describe yourself.
A mnemonic that can be used to remember the characteristics of histrionic personality disorder is shortened as “PRAISE ME”:[9][10]
- P rovocative (or seductive) behavior
- R elationships are considered more intimate than they actually are
- A ttention-seeking
- I nfluenced easily by others or circumstances
- S peech (style) wants to impress; lacks detail
- E motional lability; shallowness
- M ake-up; physical appearance is used to draw attention to self
- E xaggerated emotions; theatrical
I’m no legal expert; I’ve not read the trial transcripts; I base my comments on news reports:-
He was drunk in charge of a vessel (at night, I believe)
He exceeded the speed limit for the area in which he chose to operate
He allowed a novice to take control of the vessel
The vessel was not in a fit state to be used
In my opinion, manslaughter is a let-off. Had that vessel been an un-roadworthy car, under the charge of a drunken person who exceeded the speed limit AND allowed an unqualified driver to take control what would the charge have been?

Hi Stella - Thank you for yet another reminder - I suddenly realised that almost each time l post you kindly remind me of why SF uses photos. However, and don’t take this the wrong way, l did a little research and note that some of the following members you have exchaged posts with recently do not have photos but you NEVER seem to remind them. You’re obviously not clued-up football fans, this is a Leeds United badge from the 1970’s aka the ‘Smiley’, it has personal significance for me as it was on the first Leeds shirt I had as a kid so will have to do as my photo until I can find something better.
I took it to be Trump’s barnet !
