You can go to any cuisiniste (yellow pages) or get things made to your specifications by a menuisier ébéniste (also yellow pages). Or Ikea, But, Conforama etc.
If you don’t know anyone for a local recommendation you can try asking your notaire, they usually know who is good.

Thanks for your help

Helen - welcome to the forum.

Please will you amend your Registration to include your Full Name.

Lapeyre is reasonable quality with a large range of styles.

I can thoroughly recommend Robert Blackburn who is an excellent craftsman. He will be able to give you the advice you need. His details are:-

Robert Blackburn
Entreprises de menuiserie
La Vergne, 16210 St Romain
Tel: 05 45 78 86 28

Good luck with your move.

Thanks

I will have a look in line

Thank you this is very helpful

Morning All

We have just had our kitchen totally revamped.

After visiting loads of suppliers we eventually went with Lapeyre.

Prices very competitive, and the design service extremely good.

Our fitter also said he thought the units were the best he had fitted in years.

Their units come ready assembled, which makes fitting much much easier.

Hope that helps

Andy

Thanks handy to know

I’ve googled and they seem to only be based in the north

Helen

We’ve used this company. Units also come ready assembled.

They are certainly North of Andorra :upside_down_face::wink:

For Riberac, Perigueux might well be your closest. The folk are super helpful.

Lapeyre are a national company with 126 branches all over France, they are not the cheapest but the quality is pretty good, the kitchen we put in to our first house here is still in good nick after 16 years.

It would be worth your while calling Alan Jones, who specialises in kitchens. He’s based near Saint Privat des Pres, a 15-minute drive from Riberac. Alan is English but has lived and worked in France for many years. He installed a kitchen for friends of mine and did a fine job. And he’s a really nice guy. His number is 06 76 35 55 09.

Morning Al

Do you have Alan Jones’ Siret/Siren number or the name of his company?

It’s really helpful for folk to have such information, when thinking about employing someone. :relaxed::relaxed:

(I’m sure you will have noticed folk chiming into many a thread … “yes, but what about the Siret/Siren”)

I’ll get that information. It’s important to deal only with properly registered tradesmen.

Thanks Al… folk may well scan these threads over the months/years and it is good to give them the info they need:relaxed::relaxed::relaxed:
