Yes. I sometimes use the light you recommended (Dörr Macro) but have been reading the Nikon manual and will place one of the two lights behind the subject and move the other light around for best shots. James gave me a good lesson on macros and I stole some of your ideas :-)) for the bugs.
The speedlights must make make a big difference?
On the beasties, I am using a 105mm with extension tubes and two Nikon speedlights (SB-R200). Normally, just the 105mm and lights.
