Do you remember Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing to it? I think it was in Top Hat

I liked this version.

Sounds like a better recording of the 1938 Carnegie Hall version which sounds damaged and perhaps beyond repair. Like them both.

Fred Astaire with Ginger Rogers, Eleanor Powell and Rita Hayworth…

Just amazing :sunglasses:, the choreography is simply superb and to remember all those step sequences is just plain scary :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:

And they had to keep doing it over and over till they got it right in one take

Fifty years ago, I went to see a Japanese drumming ‘event’ at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in Rosebery Avenue, London. A whole evening of it. This video’s only 7 mins long.

The sound wave vibrations from those drums went right through me, physically, especially from a giant drum that appeared at the end of the performance. It was all very exhilarating at such a close proximity, and I left the theatre mentally and physically exhausted.

Not sure it exactly lightens the mood, but anyway…

One of my favourites… and he does it well.

I play Pavarotti’s version (in French and English) every year at our Carol Concert…
Everyone joins in, whatever nationality…

I’ve always been a Cream fan, and used to enjoy playing this when I was a teenager.

Silent night, bayou style.

My favourite at this time of year :sunglasses:
