I totally get where you are coming from but you could get a package for 10€ per month from Red _ I have the same - that will give you more data / calls / texts etc that you can ever use. I never go over and I am using my phone 24 /7.

I think David’s problem with using up all €10 in a short time is due to the fact he used the sim from his Dorro phone. As it’s a ‘dumb’ phone, the contract probably doesn’t have any included data and he’s been charged a hefty price for the data that the iPhone has undoubtedly used whilst setting it up, and whilst just sitting there.

Maybe so but that would bring me back to where we started, with a smart phone, my little Doro knows nothing about data, it does calls and texts and nothing more, all I need, if I want to talk to the internet, like now, I can sit in front of my computer. 
Also, and though I think the words sans engagement in your link means they don’t get their sticky hands in your till, I had a bad experience of SFR back in the mists of time. I had a regular prelevement with them for a long time but when I cancelled it they kept on taking the money every month nevertheless. After 3 months of this I tried to stop it at the bank but they said only SFR could stop as long as there was money in the account. So I said to them, ok, if I take all my money out will that stop you paying them? Yes they said, so I did. 
SFR did eventually pay me back all the money they shouldn’t have taken, but it was several months at least.
Isn’t it amazing how many people her on this forum have ‘friends’ who did all the inventing. Perhaps I should come out and admit be the person that invented the bow and arrow.
@hairbear and @TFJWM , yes you are both right and Eddie pointed this out to me, but once I leave the house with my Doro (I am using the word so often now and as it does have a rather exotic foreign ring to it, if Fran was still here she might suspect we were having an affair, and it is becoming true, I think I am falling in love 
) any use of it is via the mast and I lose the advantage of the Livebox and yes I realised belatedly, due to Eddie mentioning it, that it wasn’t connected to my wifi, but nevertheless there is only one word that I can use in relation to a change and that is, why? The answer falls far short of justification.
I liken it to walking down a street and when I see a zebra crossing I use it just because it is there. But I don’t want to be this side so I have to walk to the next one, and then cross back. Then continue on 'till I get to another one. 
Silly, isn’t it? And I am determined not to be silly.
I wouldn’t bother, I don’t want one of those either.

I’m not ‘calling ‘ any one out. It just appears to em that there are so many well ‘linkedin’ people here on this forum. All these inventors that Appel stole from qwre either known by, or connected in some way.. Well there’s a thing? You never lemnos who you are going to meet.
Would I be right in thinking, Brian, that you are typing with a smart phone?
If they are so clever, how come they don’t know what you really want to say?

There are several reasons why I wish my simple phone.. tiny/lightweight Doro … was still in my possession… and I’m chuffed that David is now back to normal (well, as normal as he ever was )

Well, I’m sure several of us here have patents and know others who do, and may have worked extensively in R&D. I have, and know many people who have.
