Nah he’s just flipping us the bird.
I don’t even think he’s got the manners to particularly distinguish the BBC for that treatment in this matter.

20 second AI video (one of many obviously) mocking Trump is doing the rounds on X.
I read a lot of US press oline, various sources and across the board, and it’s quite amazing what Trump says and does. Stuff he’s coming out with in the rallies (with noticeably empty seats) Plus reports on his health, physical and mental. The reflecting pool is an on-going saga, amongst others; golf course development etc. Most of it is not being reported outside the US but it’s nonetheless startling. Of course, I’m not convinced of the truth of it all (some less than others) given the age we live in but, seriously, you really do get the idea that Trump is, um, unravelling.
He seems to be coming out of the closet, too, openly sharing his admiration of men’s backsides.
His last speech sounded like a Tesco value soft porn story.
He was being funny, or his idea of funny. Fair play, in another age, on a different stage…
But, yes, that incident does illustrate his sometimes bizarre choices, his own world view.
It’s hard to know if he’s losing the plot, I’m not entirely sure he ever had possession of the plot.
In 2011 On gay marriage “It’s like in golf. A lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive. It’s weird.”
In 2012 he said “The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.”
In 2020 on COVID, " And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside."
In 2015 reciting the health report it later transpires he wrote himself, “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
So a history of not being in possession of the plot.
If only he had taken his own advice and not listened to Fauci…
Although I suspect the Tech Bros might have supported a different nutter. Difficult to see the world in a worse place, but, who knows?
Any other time news of corruption and grift would be headline news. Now it is almost an everyday event. The new normal enables those around Trump to keep on with their own fiddles, just so long as the Capo gets tribute I guess.
Lawyer Oyer is an ex (sacked for not playing ball) US Gov employee. Her podcasts are pretty low key compared with some, but are shocking for all that. Here is a quick one.
In a nation of overweight people too - btw I didn’t forget the UK isn’t that far behind.
Did we slip into a parallel universe without realising?
Possibly the most apt advice I have had in ages ![]()
We are living inside a book.
George Orwell may have mistaken the date, but we are inside 1984.
Either that or we are inside Hitchhikers etc and the little white mice are laughing at us! ![]()
Dunno which is worse?

inside Hitchhikers
[/quote] Trump’s speeches instead of Vogon poetry?
Hmmm They look the same too!
Wonder if they smell the same?
I can’t help comparing Trump with my footy team - Man Utd - when you think he/they have reached the bottom, the floor gives way more to reveal it’s deeper than I thought.
Think Manchester United are slightly more embarrassing than the orange one, if thats even possible ![]()

I wonder if he’ll attend this time? I read that his lawyers are terrified he’ll lie under oath and perjure himself.
Another article, this time from Simon Tisdall in the Graun.
