Well that could be interesting. Sanctions by the judge include dismissing the case, if that’s the right word, if he doesn’t allow himself to be deposed.
Possibly he will allow the case to slide, and claim that he really wants to continue, but being so busy (falling asleep on TV) that he can’t make the time.
Working hard for ordinary citizens…etc…defending the US against invasion…etc…
Another instance of him being the victim of the system…!
I wonder if this is what Trump wants - the BBC case has turned out to be rather more of a thorn in his side than he anticipated - he’s used to broadcasters just capitulating.

If I had to guess, that’d be what I’d go for. In fairness, I think he can legitimately say he doesn’t have the time but I’d also guess it’s not actually what he wants to do, for various reasons, and I suspect his lawyers wouldn’t be keen on him taking the stand either.
Yep, doubtless he will tell the world he is really busy with important stuff, but he does manage to spend time raising cash for things.
If he really still believed he would win, then a few hours to gain n$10 billion would be time well spent!

The video and the H-P article are both hopeful of a fair and legal election taking place, they don’t suggest that Trump is about to say “Oh well, I’ll just stop trying to illegal stuff”.
With determination from election officials and the US judiciary all will be OK, but they will likely have a busy time making it so.
Thank you for the article which I found very informative. It’s going to be a tough time for election officials in the next few weeks and I hope the judiciary are geared up.

Come Nov 3rd there is going to be an interesting David V Goliath battle in Texas between Ken Paxton sponsored by the world’s first trillionaire, Elon Musk who is throwing his enormous wealth at the campaign and James Talarico (hated by Trump so is in good company) who is sponsored by crowd funding. Despite the huge discrepancy, my money is on Talorico.

Another interesting battle, almost funny.
Republican Alaska could be a key state by turning Democratic. Trump says he’ll block the result of the election if his man, Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, the incumbent, loses.
Reason? There is another man, another republican, Dan J. Sullivan, running for the election and Trump is worried voters will be confused which Sullivan to vote for. But Trump can’t block the result – it would be illegal. And there is nothing illegal in having two Sullivans, Dan S.Sullivan & Dan J.Sullivan running.
And this may be to the benefit of the Democrat Mary Peltola who is currently 2 points ahead of the Republican incumbent.
And of course, Trump is saying it’s a Democratic scam. Hard luck!

But appears in person to accept a “Man of the Century” award.
The award is another “make believe” certificate, not even a cup or medal, and he is all smiles as he accepts it.
