Oh crikey Trump

He is, and I agreed with every other single word you said.

I tried that "every other single word " and it almost works

I have an image in mind of Trump wanting to control everyone and everything going on in the world, like a puppet master trying, but frantically realising he can’t.

I asked ChatGPT, out of interest, to conjure up such an image. Must try harder. Those strings should look frenetic not static!

Trouble with Trump is that when he fails at anything, he won’t admit it and will say he won and then move on to something entirely different.

The Israelis are murdering dozens of people in Gaza every day, Trump says nothing much. I wonder why.

Extraordinarily, on the principle that even a broken clock is right twice a day, I liked what the orange one had to say on the white house lawn today, just before he hopped into a helicopter. I’m amazed, I really think it’s the only thing he has ever said that didn’t set my teeth on edge at least.

Yes indeed, and I was amused that later the Channel 4 reporter/newsreader used the term in full in asking questions of other politicians at the NATO conference. Suitably bleeped each time.

Just remembered her name , Kathy Newman.

Dr. Heather Cox Richardson is usually pretty factual - she’s a historian, so doesn’t do “spin”. In last night’s letter she wrote, “It seems to me long past time to question the 79-year-old’s president’s mental health.” Of course, many people have been saying that for years, but to read it from her was jarring. And, of course, she is correct.

I agree, but you will know better than me how difficult or otherwise that is. Is there even a process in place to follow?

There is a process but it would lead to Vance as a replacement !

@David_Spardo , there is, but it’s not going to happen. My point was that if Dr. Cox Richardson, who is famously not very opinionated in her writing, would actually suggest that his mental health needs to be looked into, things are getting pretty bad.

Moron in Chief does it again in this truly disgusting comment

Oooo! Cathy Newman.

Not possible to do a double header? Who’s next in line. Speakerof the house?

You know what they say - be careful what you wish for. As a Man Utd supporter I wished the end of Eric Ten Hag. As a Labour supporter I looked forward to the arrival of a Labour government. It seems so very unlikely given how unhinged and vulgar Trump is, but a replacement might just be worse.

Interesting. Wondering why the bit about 79 year old was in there. Almost as if implying that the mental health of someone should be questioned due to them being 79.

Quite surprised really as I think I have seen that lady and she seemed relatively objective.

Are these the same mental health experts that kept saying Biden was fine?

Asking on behalf of Nigel, the rainbow striped unicorn that lives in my wardrobe, obviously.

She wasn’t questioning the mental health of just any seventy-nine year old, but that of one in a very public role, whose actions and judgements seem increasingly erratic and inconsistent.

And of course, Trump had been questioning Biden’s mental fitness for several years, and eventually rightly so it seems.

Actually DrMarkH, aren’t you adding your own implication there? … that 79 year olds should not be in public roles.

I do agree with you on questioning mental health given the actions we’ve seen and the words we’ve heard. But there’s enough to make questioning fair enough wihout dragging in the 79 year old as well - as then you’re saying extra things about 79 year olds.
