According to The Connexion the Ministry of the Interior told the British Embassy in Paris that is was going to be this Thursday, who to believe?

@tim17 That was correct, it was going to be the 15th but it has now been confirmed as the 19th and also now just confirmed by RIFT
and now by France Rights: British in Europe - France

Thank you Graham, will it really be as easy as that? But I wonder if merely giving them a numero fiscale would be sufficient, surely 21 years of continuous tax returns can’t be wrong? On verra. :roll_eyes:

The Local are reporting that the site won’t go live until Monday now. Can’t read the full article as I’m not a paid-up member though. Not sure if links to their site are allowed here but the article is currently on their home page.

Sorry for causing confusion.

I hadn’t been able to read what Graham had posted as it was just a link to FB with none of the details and we have all FB servers blocked so it was new and exciting news for me (and perhaps for others who choose not to use Facebook) when I saw the new announced rules. Hence sharing the actual details.

I tried to delete the other post as well but it wouldn’t let me as the thread has been locked. Perhaps you could delete it for me @cat if you have a minute, thanks.
